Can anyone confirm the format of an address in Spain? Am I right in thinking it's as below:-

Calle anything, 17
03193 San Miguel de Salinas
ALICANTE
Spain

...... or is it something totally different - sorry if this seems a dumb question!! We want to leave a forwarding post address with the Post Office here and I just wanted to make sure we got the format right

We've got about half a dozen different versions of our address - depending on which office looks at which piece of paper! I think I know where we live, and we get our post, so at least one of them must be right

I wish we got our post! It used to arrive, then the post office at Playa Flamenca got snotty and noone gets any post anymore! Except for 3 letters I sent from the UK to see if any got here! Yes all three with slightly different addresses arrived in my post box! The original address I used to use, plus two slightly altered ones with nearby roads written on them! However my birthday cards which were sent to the original address got returned to sender, address unknown So do I know my address? No...! Have I had any post in the past 2 months? No! Are the town hall or post office helpful...? NO! So I tell everyone not to send me post now! Hopefully when I don't receive my tax demands, the taxman won't be able to find me either!

Sorry , 7 years ago when the post system was really bad , I sent a letter to my self never recieved it , nor any other post , but lo and behold a big brown envelope was in my post box one day , yes you guessed it a letter and plenty of forms from the tax man !!!! and this is no joke , it is a standing joke to this day in our house .
Luckly we had nothing to hide ! so expect the unexpected here in spain !!!
