3. On the coast road between Torrevieja and La Mata (Bus route Linea A) - Look out for a building with a large 'Torre Tay' sign (can't miss it), the restaurant is at one corner of this building.
We've eaten there several times and would certainly go there again. The chef is Belgian (Christian Lehane) and the walls are plastered with (well earned) diplomas and citations.
3 courses for 3 people including 2 bottles of reasonable wine = 106€ (about £70). Excellent value. P Smith

Review :- My wife and I have been to this restaurant a number of times and have
enjoyed every moment. The surroundings are impressive and the food excellent. There is a good varied choice on the menu . I would recommend the Fish baked in salt which is filleted at your table. The service is superb, with just the right level of attention. Prices are average but good value considering the venue and service that is provided. They also do lunchtime snacks to be eaten on the veranda where you can admire the impressive views. Nice to go there for morning coffe too. Well worth going to if you have guests to impress.

Review:- I cannot believe that this restaurant has not already had several reviews. Upon arriving you are greeted with a warm welcome in a very relaxing atmosphere. My wife and I had starters and main meal dishes which were superb. A very good choice of wines were on offer to accompany the meal and i would recommend the Hennesy Brandy to finish off with. Although the menu was not as one would find back in England help was very readily at hand to explain all and to offer a little advise on trying something different. The King Prawn chilli and garlic starter was something i had never tried before but will do so again. Criticism although minor would be that the keema naan was rather thin and lacking in filling and that maybe Elton John was not the best backing music for an Indian restaurant. Prices were reasonable but not cheap. All in all I would give this place a 7 out of 10 rating and would say that it is well worth a visit.

Review:- Recently opened, the Kashmir is IMHO the BEST Indian restauarant in Torrevieja. In fact, I would almost go as far as to say it is the best Indian food I have eaten in Spain in 13 years. No attention to detail has been spared, from the quality tablecloths to the beautifully engraved chairs. The food is simply superb with a wide and inclusive menu. There is a good choice for vegetarians and there is no charge for papadums - a nice touch. The chef is from Pakistan and all meat is Halal. Although I do not drink wine myself, I am assured that the drinks menu is equally competitively priced and with an excellent choice of wines at all price levels. To make it even more affordable, The Kashmir was one of the first restauarants in Torrevieja to join The Card (www.thecard.info) and all members can enjoy a free bottle of wine per four people. The Kashmir has its OWN loyalty card too - members get every sixth meal free of charge!!

The restaurant is owned and managed by a charming couple - Kish and Wahida who speak impeccable English. There is a big Dutch client base as they also speak Dutch. There is ample free parking near the restaurant.

Seven of us went along to the Kashmir Restaurant on Friday night, when we arrived we had drinks at the bar whilst waiting for our remaining friends to arrive. The Restaurant is very spacious, nicely decorated with plenty of room between the tables that where well presented with lining tablecloths, glasses and cutlery. Kish welcomed us warmly and showed us to our table, we perused the Menu that will be familiar to all U.K. curry fans whilst enjoying our free popadoms and pickles. On the advice of our Indian friends we ordered a selection of dishes that would test the Chef's. It was nice to be provided with ample dish warmers and the main courses arrived. The food was excellent and very well presented, nicely coloured and very tasty and as Steve has said before the rice was good enough to eat on its own. After dinner Kish and his wife came to the table ask for our feedback, any suggestions and explained the loyalty program to us and we are all now carrying our loyalty card with us. It was nice of Kish and his wife to spend plenty of time giving help and advice to my two Indian friends who he new where planning to open a Restaurant themselves.

I have to agree that this is a fantastic Indian Restaurant! From the reviews on this site I thought we’d try it and I’m so glad we did. It was probably the best food we had all holiday!
The restaurant was lovely, extremely clean and well presented, the owner Kish was a delight to meet and made sure we had everything we wanted, he was very helpful in recommendations and he was spot on, they were excellent!!
There were 4 in our party and all said that is was a fantastic Indian!
However, he was telling us that he is currently relocating to a more accessible area. The current location is quite hard to find if you don’t know the area and isn’t somewhere you would spot just passing. The restaurant is moving in the 1st week of September and I will get the new address and post it on my review when I find the card in my suitcase! In the mean time contact their website and he will hopefully give you details of their new location.
This is a very highly recommended restaurant and I wish him every success in his move. I’m sure our loyalty card will be full in no time!!!!!!!!!!!!

Last week we visit with 6 people the Kashmir restaurant in los altos in Centro commercial V in Dream hills.
We almost tried all Indian restaurants in the area but this is for 100% the best Indian food we had since we visit India.
The restaurant is very well decorated and the staff is your friend in one evening.
The prices are more than acceptable and the restaurant is well decorated.

Review:- I must admit that when I was invited to Via Park 1 for Hungarian MealI had thoughts of a scruffy bar, with a scruffy owner with overpriced, "European" food. How wrong I was! The restaurant is among the most elegant in the area and the choice and quality of food was simply
superb. Our party of ten had 8 different starters, 7 different main courses and 5 different desserts between us. Everybody was happy with every dish. the evening began well when the owner/manager came over to
introduce herself - always a good sign - and made us feel very welcome.
There is a very wide variety of starters and the salads were very fresh and beautifully displayed. The gulash was well received by two guests and the entremeses were a plate of many different custs. As I anticipated, the main courses were very mainly meat courses and whilst
there was nothing particularly exotic, the staple meats were offered in a wide range of options and were all beautifully prepared and eagerly devoured!! The restaurant does not claim to be a fish restauarant.
Nevertheless, there is an adequate range for non meat-eaters and my partner was very impressed with her salmon.
The cheeseboard - unusual in Spain - was a huge individual platter and apparently the pancakes and crepes were to die for. Free Schnapps style liquers were offered in ample quantities to finish a most enjoyable
meal.
Throughout the evening there is live background music provided by a magnificent violinist and a gentleman who plays a cross between a mini-piano, glockenspiel and a xylophone. My Hungarian is not good enough to find out more about the instrument (!) but I will definitely
ask the owner on my next visit. A very pleasant musical experience.The best surprise of the night - the price. I would easily have expected to pay at least 50% more. This was partly because the drink prices are very reasonable. It means that somewhere which is elegant enough to be a "special occasion" only restaurant is affordable for more regular visits.

Very highly recommended.

PS There is also a lunchtime Menú del día at just 9 euros. That looks exceptional value.

A must for Indian lovers. The Thali at 8.50 Euros consisted of 6/7 different dishes (served on a tray) all delicious and included a dessert (Indian) and coffee. Terrific value - as confirmed meat eaters we finished our meal completely full and satisfied. Didn't miss the meat at all! Only 4 or 5 inside tables and a couple outside - gets very busy. There is also a full Vegetarian al la carte menu.

Chef's Home-made French onion soup and cream of brocoli soup are the winter favorites at the moment.Also we have oven baked mussels in garlic butter,snails, warm chicken liver salad, cheesy garlic bread, prawn cocktail,bbq wings and different salads.
We have a large choice of main courses ranging from the usual steaks to the unusual kangaroo and ostrich steaks!A big favorite is the half leg of lamb priced at E14.50.
Winter specials (all at E8.50)include Beef Bourguigon, Coq-au-vin,confit of duck, chef's minit steak in shallot and white wine sauce,and vegetarian lasangne.Large grilled prawns with garlic butter, filet of whiting and whole lemon sole are also available.There is also; half roast chicken, pork loin in french mustard sauce, BBQ ribs, Paella and more!!
Prices range from E8.50 to E19.50 for a large steak all with a choice of gratinated potatoes(many people come back for these!),chips or rice and then a choice of four different home-made sauces, fresh vegetables or a side salad.
Home-made crêpes Suzette and crème brulée go down very well
but then so do the french profiteroles, meringue pears and baileys and sticky toffee pudding! All priced at E5.00

The owner,Guy, is the head chef and his English wife, Fiona,moved down here after owning a restaurant in France for ten years.They have now been in this restaurant for three years and the combination works well with a good quality food price combination.
