The food in Torrevieja is varied with an excellent choice of International cuisines including Italian, French, German, Chinese, Indian, Korean, Scandinavian, Serbian, Croatian, Mexican, etc. in a number of specialised restaurants.
The typical Torrevieja Speciality is the "Caldero", which consists of different fish types, rice and the juice of the fish, this you can eat almost anywhere in town.
Other typical sea flavour dishes are rice with fresh anchovy, cooked codfish, red bream, mackerel, ray and other fish, which are prepared in there are own special way in various restaurants.

In my opinion this is one of the best new restaurants in Torrevieja. The food and service are second to none in a different and relaxed atmosphere. Winner of Best Chef 2010 and finalist as the best newcomer restaurant, The Dingo Diner has become a favourite amongst British, Irish, Scandinavian, Spanish and Belgium communities Excellent set MDD and Eve menu with several choices at a very reasonable price, Superb A la Carte Menu and a mouthwatering Sunday Roast. Worth mentioning the background music: they only play music from 1950 to 1969 It is a place to share exceptional food with your friends, partners, lovers or family. A place where you can talk, eat, drink and enjoy. When you book a table it is yours for the whole shift so there is no rush to get out. They have also got gift vouchers and loyalty cards so after ten meals you are granted one for free! Well done, Eric, Nacho and your team!

We decided to give this highly publicised Restaurant a visit, Staff and choice of menu very good, however we ordered two chicken dishes at 8 Euros each dish, loads of sauce but only 4 very small cubes of chicken, this was very disappointing.We thought that there were too many tables in too small an area, and you were rather cramped.

Excellent food, a huge variety of freshly cooked and large portions, many bottles of wine to choose from. A small seating area inside but a medium/large seating area outside at the rear of the building away from the street, hence 'El Patio'. It is the kind of place you would normally walk past and not really notice, but once you've been there, you'll want to go again, very cheap and the management and staff are friendly, its typically Spanish, try it, you won't be disappointed.
